Advice
I have decided to get back into snakes specifically BPs obviously lol.
So I'm about to buy some I just have to decide between these two groups
Champagne Butter (Female)
Mojave (Male)
Albino bumblebee (Female)
Or my other group
Coral glow (male)
Mojave (Female)
I'm trying to eventually get fully white BPs and fully black ones.
I'm horrible at genetics so more than likeky neither of these combos will get me to my solid whites and solid blacks.
but these are the ones I'm currently interested in.....Everything is going to take a while so I'm not in rush to buy the super expensive ones to get to my goal.
Any replies welcomed!!

Re: Advice
The mojave and champagne butter would make a blue eyed lucy, an all white snake with blue eyes
However, the mojave tends to give the head a darker hue, grey really, not in all, one of my local breeders has a clean mojave/butter that is all white, but it is often seen to be "muddied'

It really should be what catches your eye , what pair would make you skip down to bare hand a poop out the tub? Both pairs sounds amazing but clown and banana hands down make my heart skip a beat just do what makes you happy everything else is gravy best wishes and welcome GREAT group of helpful people :D

So after i get a BEL i pair it with another one to get pure babies?

Or you could skip that and just buy a Blue Eyed Lucy morphmarket has some beauties for not a bad price:D

Just buy a BEL! they're not expensive anymore. And then you can pair it with a mojave.
There aren't any pure black ball pythons unfortunately. Super cinnamons and super black pastels are the closest thing, but they have white tummies.
Use this to learn about ball python genetics and their combos:

Out of those two groups the only one that will produce a white snake is crossing the Champagne Butter with the Mojave. Here are your odds below. Any snake that contains both the Butter and Mojave will be white with blue eyes.
And breeding two white snakes will give you all white snakes, although you may not know the genetics. For example, if you crossed two Butter Mojave this would be the result below. They would all be white but you wouldn't know the genetics of the offspring. The only way you would know for sure is if you paired two Super Mojave or Super Butter (or Super Lesser, or Super Fire, or Super Yellowbelly, or Super Bamboo, etc...)
Although on the positive side if you used a Butter Mojave to breed to any other snake all of the offspring would be either Mojave or Butter, you would get no Normals.

Re: Advice
If you are looking to eventually get a really dark or all black BP, look up the Super Mahogany Cinnamon or Suma Cinnamon. That I would say is the closest I've seen to an all black BP :gj:
