My granddaughter noticed something on Mia when she was over yesterday. She said Mia had blue on her.

And i'll be danged... she does.

When you put her in the light she actually has a bluish color, like a rainbow color on the darker color on her body. (did that make sense? )

That is normal.

All of my snakes have some of that iridescence when in the light. I suspect that it is caused by the snakes natural oils either under the skin or “stained” on top of the skin after shedding.

I always find it adorable when snakes wrap around someone like that! I'm glad he's enjoying her so much, before you know it, she'll be big enough to be a scarf!:D
