    Smeagol, the mighty hunter!
That little dude makes me laugh every Day. Even when he just sits in his favorite corner and gives me reproach full looks.

He has never been a spooked guy. Sits right in the open but wouldn't move much. Calm when picked up. He has been snacking on some tiny Dubia roaches and Phoenix worms.

The mighty hunter awakened! Earlier he got some worms that I dipped in Pangea smoothie.(yum, meat and gravy..) and a couple dusted Dubias.

Apparantly it wasn't enough. He is now prowling the tank. Jumping here and there, eyes big and fierce. He normally waits until it's pitch black dark before doing much but I guess he is comfortable enough to hunt with the low lights on and me watching X-Files next to him.

There is just something so entertaining about them, even when they don't do much of anything. The poses they sleep in are already so funny, so are the looks they give!

    He really is adorable!

The things you mention are some of reasons I like cresties so much, they are very personable, and seem to act and react in ways that are anything but predictable. Makes me wonder if they are one of the more intelligent geckos, as I've kept other species of geckos for years and while really cool, most just don't have the range of moods cresties have.

I know, right? I swear he makes "faces". LOL

Can't say he is the most graceful, though, as he almost fell off his tree AGAIN!

I believe he knows that I am the ones that make the bugs appear. He is sitting right in front of me, giving me a hard stare down. I can almost hear his voice in my head. BUGS! NOW!!

Such a demanding little thing he is.. :)

...and 2 videos of him eating.

In this first one he didn't do his "raptor routine" of grabbing and shaking the prey.. I think the light from the phone threw him off...

This video is much darker, but shows his fierceness a bit better, LOL, he likes to grab and shake!

I keep watching him instead of my show, he is so dang entertaining. If he wasn't asleep during the day, I would never get any work done at this desk, that is for sure, LOL

Haha I like how big his pupils are and how focused he is. Vicky, rango and Pat all get HUGE pupils and stand up posed and looking all focused like that but in snake form.
