Cheap lighting options for a T8
I'm super excited to get my AP T8 soon but realized I didn't think about lighting the inside. What are some cheap and easy solutions for lighting?

Call or email them and see if they can add on the LED option. If they have not shipped yet they might be able to append it to your order.

I am sure other people on here have used LED light strips for lighting. You should be able to find some on amazon and moth can be cut to fit. Most come with an adhesive back but you would need to better secure it down than just tape. You can also buy cheap light bars form amazon that you can secure into a cage. One drawback is many of these inexpensive light bars have digital switches for on and off so if you plan on having it on a timer you may need to get comfortable with cutting out the switch and wiring it back together without it. I had to do that for a USB light bar on my rosy boa cage. After bypassing the switch it worked great.

This is what I got that requiring removing the on off switch to get a timer to work without it coming back on in the off state.

Reptile basics also sells decent cage lighting

Ill have to go by the store later today and see what LED lights they have, I wasn't sure if there was specific lights you weren't supposed to use. Is there any type of light you shouldn't use?

Not really. The best option would be something dimmable.
