    CHE + Thermostat Probe position!
    Hello!

So we are finally in our new appartment and setting up our viv. I have a Herpestat EZ2 to regulate, UTH and CHE for ambient temps. I'm pretty confident on the UTH + probe placement, but the CHE worries me.

We have a tank with a mesh top and when I place the CHE on top, the metal is very heated. I'm worried the noodle will touch it and get burned. How do I place the probe to avoid this? I don't see much about this issue posted - all I know is after I touched the metal where the heat lamp was, I felt a burn!

I want to have this up and running for two weeks for a baseline on our temps before we start looking for a beep, so I appreciate all the help!
