Lesser, Butter, or Something Else?
Hello,
I'm planning on getting this snake from a local pet store, but the people don't know the morph, and he/she's classified as a "mixed fancy ball python," which doesn't really tell me much. When I saw it, it looked to me like a butter or a lesser, and the guy selling it said he thought it was a banana (which I don't really see, to be honest). If anyone has an idea, I'd love to hear it!

Also, the price of this guy was $150 (US dollars), and on sale for $100. Butters and lessers are typically under $100, and bananas are usually around $150. Of course, those prices may mean nothing when the store doesn't actually know the morph :rolleyes:

and just so you know: Butter and Lesser are the same gene, but they started off as different lines.

Yep pics dont open but butter and lesser are the same and banana would be easily identified. Id check when your local expo is so you dont over pay for a single gene animal from someone that doesnt even know what theyre selling.
