    Moss box mould concern
Hello I was politely enquiring about whether older wet moss will go mouldy
After shed in the viv, should it be removed immediately after shed even tho the viv
Is in a very dry environment , he's a five year old royal, first time using moss box,
Very active healthy snake , many thanks

You don't need to remove it immediately, if you want to keep it, treat it like any other substrate. If you see it go moldy which eventually it might then you get rid of it or if it gets dirty.

For my Corn, it's a moss box and I simply remove it afterwards cause I don't like the look of it in the tank. But for Python, the box never worked so I would just spread it in a section and mist, after shed I found no point in removing it and the contrast of it on the other substrate looked cool so I left.

Treat it like any other substrate and get rid of it when necessary.
