    Azzy
    Hi everyone!
Hi there! My name is Azaria, but you can feel free to call me Azzy or Azar. I have been a longtime pet keeper, with around 10 years of experience in the aquarium world, and 6 or 7 years in the rodent world. It was only in the past year or so that I got into reptiles, although I have loved them my entire life. My first stuffed animal was of a rattle snake, and the books that lined my childhood shelves were of snakes and frogs.
Currently, I have a bearded dragon named Simber, and a timor monitor named Fwooper. Monitors are not for beginner pet/reptile keepers generally speaking, but I have a family member that is a herpetologist, and they help oversee much of the care to make sure it is correct. Fwooper is doing very well, and is a prized member of my family.
I also have a Siberian forest cat named Bandit, as well as four gerbils, a mouse, a 60 gallon Malawi cichlid tank, and a 45 gallon angelfish tank.
I am receiving a Kenyan sand boa tomorrow, which I am just so ecstatic for! Snakes have always been my favorite reptile, if not my dream pet, but members of my family have not wanted one in the house for years. It was the Kenyan sand boa's small size that made them decide one snake couldn't hurt. (Doesn't the madness always start with only one though?)
I am very excited to now be a member of this forum, and I'm also very excited to learn some new information on all kinds of reptiles! I hope to see you all around! :)
