trying to document everyone's growth is hard!

1.0 Coral Glow (High Contrast, from NERD stock) 100% het Piebald

"sweet potato" is a nickname is use on any pet, even my cat. now this guy is my true Sweet Potato.

he came in shed and he peed the bag but he was fairly clean. a dainty blue lad.

wednesdays are my feeding day. and once we got home and settled in, he was poking out like everyone else when the rats came out. i figured it wouldn't hurt to offer.

it took two defensive strikes before he wrapped, as if thinking this can't be real...this weird place has rats too?!

Almost all of mine eat when I first received them within a day or so. Shiva and Bob were local pickups from breeders in my area and they are aggressive and chase their food down. I hope to change them to FT asap because as they grow they will be in more danger. Miss Snow is a picky eater. Has to be right size ASF with black eyes (not red eyes)or she will not even look at it. Tried to offer FT once already and she would not even consider it. It has to be a black eyed small ASF live for her to find it tasty. My retic Rainbow. She would eat anything she could fit in her mouth I think. only had her for a week though. I did have a pinstripe that would not eat for the first 3 weeks of having him. I think he was more interested in breeding than eating though.

I love it when they eat.

Chuck, my little juvenile doesn’t like to be disturbed. He almost always strikes defensively at the dead rat, before realizing it is food, then he grabs it.
