    Unusual exotic pet sighting...
    So I was at the hospital yesterday to meet my girlfriend after work (she's an RN) and saw this guy...and his pet turkey. Apparently he hangs out there often. This is the parking lot directly in front of the entrance which results lots of traffic, do it and vehicular. I was there about 40 minutes and he was there the whole time, his turkey just chilling. The turkey would occasionally wander a bit and when it got too far the owner called it and it came right back. It was pretty neat. Everybody and there brother stopped to comment, some pet the turkey and got pics. I just enjoyed from afar....https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...df4a01fafd.jpg

    Hahahaha, right? It was actually super cool to watch the turkey interact with people. Just not something you see everyday in a hospital parking lot.
    It was funny how many people commented on "dinner" or thanksgiving. The guy must have heard them all a million times, he just shrugged them off hahaha.

    The amount of unique pets people keep anymore never fails to entertain me.

    I thought I was odd for keeping a pet duck as a kid. I loved that duck.

    There is one at the stable where I board my horse that was raised as a pet. It will walk up to anyone and start nudging legs for attention. Kind of cute but very disconcerting because it doesn't tend to make a lot of noise, so sometimes you turn around and it's RIGHT THERE wanting attention.

    Unless you are not in the US, I would just call it unusual and not exotic. :)

    i used to live in Alameda, CA and there were wild turkeys through out the East Bay. i've seen gaggles of wild turkeys in Oakland through Dublin which is pretty crazy and they are even meaner in groups. smrt and mean things.

    ESA's have been a fun discussion topic on the forum and a turkey was on a plane for emotional support before:

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I use this as my answer to ESAs all the time. "Don't get offended when my ESA burmese gives me emotional support by eating your ESA bunny"
