My cage was under humidified, so when Olaf went to shed, he didn't quite get the skin on top of his head or his eyecaps off. I tried everything to get it off, like getting a damp rag and letting him soak in it, and trying to soak him in water (which he didn't like). Then found out about 'humidity boxes'. They are like a hide with damp moss or paper towels in there to keep it extra humid in there. I took out his hide on the warm side and he spent the night in the humidity box and by morning, all the skin was off. So if anyone out there has a snake with incomplete sheds, this works wonders, but of course, I'm not an expert. Has anyone else had such good success with humidity boxes?
