BP Making weird noise?

my ball python was out when she started making a weird noise that sounded like gagging, her mouth open wide too. Then she stopped and yawned, drank some water, then went back to normal. She looks fine now, she's exploring, but I'm worried sick and I don't know what on earth that was! :confusd: I've search on forums, some say it's farting, pooping, RI. But I haven't heard any wheezing from her. I checked under her hide, and saw a bit of poop there. She seems fine, she relaxed now, but is it something I should concerned about? Is it the start of an infection? I don't know what happened!! :O

Sounds like she had a little excess gas from the digestive process. No biggie, it happens from time to time when I bulk up my females.

Snakes can make all sorts of interesting noises. Most of the time it's nothing to worry about, especially when it's an occasional isolated incident. Just keep an eye on her. Assuming husbandry is on point I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

So then, do snakes burp? Or is that just a sound they might make forcing out a poot?

Seriously! About a month after we got Lucy we went to the vet for a mild infection in her tummy. I wish I could have seen my face when the vet squeezed a few huge ones out of her.
