Strange bug found on new BP
Hello, I just got my new ball python from XYZReptiles. I was looking at him in his tank and somehow spotted some minor movement on his head. I decided that I can't leave this unnoticed so I got the snake out and saw a small dark gray bug crawling on his head. I don't think it's a mite because mites are usually really small. Sorry for no picture. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Without a picture it's hard to say. Could the bug have just been in the house somewhere and found it's way into the enclosure?

Would love to help but thats as hard as me asking you what kind of Motorcycle just went by my house hahahaha. Grab a Pic. Could be anything from a house type bug to a wood mite to a snake tick or mite.

If you remember what it looks like, you could try IDing it.

Welp, my thread has turned into a joke. Haha. Anyways, the bug was a decent size over 1 mm, so probably not a mite. I checked the snake over and didn't seem to find any problems. I will post a pic of the snake in a few days one he's not stressing too much, or if I find any other bug in the enclosure.
