    Shark Bait
New to the snake world and your forum
Hello all, I guess the title says it all. I just bought my first BP and I'm pertty stoked. She/He is about 5 months old and I'm loving her/him, if you couldn't guess I don't know the sex yet. Any info or links you could give me to read up on them would be great, I have been reading lots of books and picking the reptile guys brain about BPs.

Welcome Shark Bait. (I feel like watching Nemo all of a sudden ;) ) My biggest thing about owning a bp is to make sure you make their environment as close to perfect as possible. They are an ectotherm, so require the right temps to maintain a healthy life. Don't measure the temps and humidity with those dials or little strips. (they suck) Go for a digital thermometer! Make sure to provide two hides one on hot side and one on cool. No touching after a feed for 48 hours. And here's a link to the caresheet.
