New Shed fix an Old Bad Shed?

Just had a question, recently got a Jungle Carpet Python, but when I got her, she was in the shedding phase, so haven't really been able to handle her or look around at her body. But I do feel like her head does have some old skin on it, doesn't look like it came off a hundred percent. So she's currently in her blue phase, I have some moist moss in a hide for her, some good decor for scratching on and hoping this time she'll have a very successful shed, I've never had any issues with my other snakes. So I'm wondering if her shed goes well, will it remove any old bad shed on her body? Will it be a good clean start again?

Sorry I know it's a JCP, but hoping the Ball Python Owners will have some knowledge on this, as it's a skin question

Yes, a good full shed with take off any stuck shed from the previous shed with it. It's taking off the outermost layer of skin cells, which is where the old shed is attached. It's like if you take off a set of clothes with dirt on them, the dirt goes with the shirt. If it had say a bunch of mud encrusted on it, it might start being a bit more difficult to remove, but the mud would still come of with the shirt - in this analogy being similar to if the snake had a bunch of layers of old shed in a spot, it gets tricky for them to peel off. But just a simple small bit is usually not any harder than normal.
