About the two sides of Ultratherm heat mat
Hello guys! I just received my Ultratherm heat mat, but I'm not sure which side is up stick to the tub and which side is down? One side is with label and brown lines and the other side is without label or brown line. Thank you so much!! https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...0319190835.jpghttps://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...0319190844.jpg

Thank you so much! :)I'll put a tub on it, so the label side faces the ground not the tub right?

You got it. I mean technically it really doesnt matter but i like to put my labels outward so i can see wattage, production date and SN# if i need that info.

I have all my heat tapes sandwiched between PVC cages in stacks and it heats both top and bottom cages lol.

Been using these for decades, never an issue. I always put aluminum over the heat mat, like a sandwich. I use plummer's tape for this- Bean Farm has this.
