    Keeping substrate moist?
Hey all, my ball is in a 40 gal glass enclosure and I'm wondering if there's any way to keep her substrate moist. I use cypress mulch and it's nice and moist out of the bag but dries up within a few days. I don't want to have to change out her substrate that often because that sounds like a waste. Is there any way to keep it moist, like it is out of the bag?

Mist it using a spray bottle. Cypress is nice for high-humidity environments because it doesn't mold easily, so you can get it quite wet.

I use repchip so no experience with your stuff.

However I’m done w the mister it takes forever.

I got one of those Poland spring sport bottles w the spout and I just pour water over the substrate and mix it in. Lasts me longer that way then the straight mist. Some folks use an actual machine misting device but I haven’t gone there yet
