I cant tell what stage shes at
My bp has been glowig like crazy for the past week, but shes also been on her heat pad for most of the time. Ive seen her on the cold side of her tank maybe twice so far. And I only see a small bit of swelling in her lower mid and maybe a small small spot were the "tail suck" should be. Any ideas if shes in ovulation yet? Im new to breeding so I dont really know. Smh
Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Could you post some pics of her so we can see how her swelling looks? Mine spent most of her time soaking in her water bowl or wrapped around it before she started to ovulate and is now spending all her time on the hot spot. Ovy is hard to miss though. They look Humongous and are very hard to the touch. You’ll know for sure if she goes into shed shortly after looking huge [emoji4]

    A few questions.
I just wanted to know a few things real quick about my female.

-How do you correctly palapate a female?(ive seen a bunch of vids on it, but still cant get it right for some reason
-Does her size and colour look like shes close to ovulation? I know ive been asking this a bunch, this will be the last time I swear lol.

No, keep the questions coming. That’s how we all learn. I can’t really tell if it’s an ovulation in the picture. She looks close.

It is really hard to tell from the pictures but I’d say keep trying to palpate and see if you can feel how big the follicles are. I usually take my girl out of her tub and let her slither back into it while I press my index/middle fingers gently on her tummy with my thumb along her back and wait to start feeling bumps. It is hard to get good at palpating but just keep practicing and you’ll get the hang of it! Sorry I’m no help with telling how close she is by the pics. I can’t tell if she’s glowing or not but she does look a little plump.
