    Big Apple Thermostat
Do any of you use or have heard about the BAH-1000 thermostat by Big Apple. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

I'm using something similiar but its rated at only 500watts and was slightly cheaper than big apple's. While there are much more expensive (and well worth it) units I have been trying out this cheaper model for a few weeks now on my homead rack. I got it just to start thinking it probably wouldn't last and be very accurate but I needed something quick. Well honestly so far its holding up well. Just some advice though use seperate temperature sensing devices to dial in the these tstats. These analog units are very hard to dial in without something accurate such as a digital thermometer. My temps once dialed in and adjusted a couple times sit right at 95 and have only really varied a degree or two before the unit makes corrections.

Every mechinal device can and will fail. The quality of the item will usually depend on how long that takes.
