    Questions on BP Breeding
I have 2 corns(one I bred) and 5 ball pythons. I am wanting to breed my BPs. I am looking for some solid advice and see if I am on the right track. :pc:

    Let's try this?

Do you have any more specific questions about ball python breeding?

It's a pretty broad topic and I'm sure that no one feels like typing out several pages of information that could be easily found in a book or on one of many many websites online.

I'd be glad to help, if I knew what you really wanted to know.

    Sorry.. True.

Is there a weight that seems to be ideal? And could you reiterate about feeding small rats instead of larger rats?
    Rhinorax. Any thoughts on those?
    Thx in advance.

most people say around 1500 grams or around 500 grams a foot is a good size to breed at. adam feeds smalls because for him, his snakes eat weekly and don't fast or become random in their feedings on smalls. i've never had boaphiles but alot of people rave about them. animal plastics and barrs are also very popular.

In my opinion, incubate. Temp stays regulated and I find I have better success with hatchlings.

Hi If I could jump in here too? Could you provide some links to articles on breeding? I have been hunting about for all the info I can find.

Also, is there a substrate or a humidity level that they like more for breeding? How about temp? I mean, for the ideal conditions to make them be 'in the mood'.
And are they seasonal in breeding? It seems like most people breed in the spring so I would assume it is seasonal.
More questions to follow I am sure.
