    Female ball python tub
I was wondering, will female ball pythons eventually "require" 41 qt tub? even if they are not going to breed?
I am planning on adding female ball and I need to build a rack but don't know if I should build the rack for 34 qt or 41 qt.
Not breeding, not trying to grow it fast or anything, just a pet treated like my male ball.

Honestly, I don't see any big difference between 34 and 41 sterlite. 41qt is longer but narrower, 34 is little shorter but wider.

Most females will eventually get big enough that a 41 quart tub will be cramped.
I keep mine in a 55 quart tub and she has only a little room to move around and thermoregulate.
34 quart is way to small for an adult ball python

Generally it is considered that the floor space be a MINIMUM of the length and width as long as your ball python.
So a 60” snake would require a 36” long and 24” wide enclosure or larger. Which is what the HOMZ 56 quart underbed storage tubs are, that I use.

34 quart is only 42” length and width combined.

41qt is the minimum size i would keep an adult female, and possibly males.
