What is the time limit for editing and can it be extended ??

Being dyslexic ( and Aspergers ) I often make daft spelling or grammar mistakes and by the time I realise ( when I'm reading through the replies later ) it's too late to edit :(
Quite often it's not even my fault it's this damn autocorrect which is usually helpful but occasionally changes my words completely!

I also use other forums and a couple have no time limit at all so you can edit months later if you wish !

You do not, everything that is posted is here to stay otherwise it would be too easy for people to type just about anything including something that violates the TOS and then delete it before the staff sees it.

The only thing we will do is edit ads if personal info such as email or phone number were posted and the OP no longer wish to be contacted, everything else is here to stay.

WE can’t. BUT Mods and Admins can delete and/or move threads.

    ;)

I have learned that your threads or posts can be deleted or edited (or moved to QT) by a Mod or Admin if u you post something controversial/upsetting or something in violation of the forum Terms of Service. so in a roundabout way, u can nuke your own thread.

    Edit:

i have noticed that u have a habit of misspelling simple words like "color" and that u have a peculiar vocabulary and syntax.

I agree! An edit time extension would be very welcome! This is the only forum I belong too with such a narrow time window.

I only know how to post pics by using Tapatalk. I don’t use it for words, thus it is time consuming flipping back and forth. Then once I use Tapatalk, I can’t edit on the BP site because the post is totally unaligned on the screen once in edit function on an iPad. I have to go back to Tapatalk again. Time is usually up by then.

    Please, more time. :)
