    What do i do
So today i came home from work checked in on all my animals. All is well but i discovered something. I was using drift wood under my humidifier nozel to soak up all the water droplets that fell from the screen of my enclosure. Drift wood is like a spung to water. But i decided to flip it over and noticed a small patch of white mold starting to grow. I Immediately removed it. My question is is it OK to alow the water from the nozzle of my humidifier to drop droplets of water into the water bowl of my snake's cage through the screen top . Seems logical water too water no mold but the screen Is not a natural surface it has been painted by the manufacturer. Input please. I do ask if you have any sarcastic comments or stupid things the say please keep in too your self and do not comment on this thred I don't wanna hear negative opinions I'm asking a logical question because I don't know.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...60169085e8.jpg

Should be fine as far as I know. My corn and king are in glass/screen top enclosures, I'll pour water through the screen top directly into their water dishes. Haven't had any issues.

    Should be fine...

How much does it drop ?

I'm asking because you want to make sure that you don't "spook" your Ball Python from drinking. If he is drinking and a fat drop lands on his head, he might get jumpy about drinking from there ;)

I used to pour water through my screen tops sometimes rather than open everything up. But I did notice a small amount of rust so I stopped. The screen top has since been re-painted and I no longer do that.

I would say try it, but keep a watchful eye on it.

Also, Zina's comment makes a lot of sense too. You don't want to stress the snake or scare it away from the water dish.

I do the same - sometimes I am too lazy to unclip all the tank locks LOL
