Butter Pastel Breeding - pairing suggestions
    Evening all

I joined bp.net many years ago in 2006 when I was thinking of getting BP but didn’t end up getting one

Now 12 years on I have bought my first BP a butter Pastel captive breed locally as a hatchling. I couldn’t be more pleased with her 😀

Fully appreciate that I’ve got a couple of years or so to go before she’s big enough and sexually mature enough to breed, but just wondered if anyone has any particular morphs that they’d suggest to pair with her at that time, and perhaps any to avoid?

I’m looking to get a male hatchling in a few months and so am asking now so I can research, I’m in no rush to get a male and just want to make the right choice and avoid any mistakes. I’m not breeding her for the money, although I guess having hatchings that would easily sell (as don’t want to end up with hatchlings that aren’t appealing to others) and covering my costs would be handy, but not essential

i like the the banana and Star Wars morphs, but would welcome any suggestions

lastly, what is the best beginners book on breeding BPs please?

    Many thanks in advance

    Congrats on your girl.

Leopard Fire would work if you want some cool patterns.

Orange dream Fire if you want to really brighten things up.
