Mojave BP progress

If this is the wrong place to post this I apologize. Hi all I'd like to post the progress of my bp. Feeding habits, growth, sheds, any health issues an stuff like that.
Im looking to get any advice or tips on how I'm caring for my snake.
She is Mojave Fire and almost 4 months old. I got her in a 34qt tub, which I know is a bit big but she settled in just fine. My hot side hide is 89-91 degrees and my cool hide is 77. Ambiant temp in the middle is about 80-83 degrees. Using Zoomed heating devices and Jumpstart tstat.
Below is a copy and paste of my feeding/weight/shed notes.

She is 180g right now an last 2 feed got mice around 30g. They didn't look wider than her but the feeding chart I also go by suggests her food is too big. Thanks [emoji41] I'm super happy with her. I almost got a pastel yellowbelly. Glad I went with Mojave, way prettier in person than the sellers online pics.
What's more important when feeding, the width of the rodent or the weight? I got a 40g mouse in the freezer an it looks like my bp can handle it. Its a little wider than my snake but the chart says differently.

40g is a bit big. I wouldn't go above 25 or so with the weight your snake is at now. She is almost to,rat pups.

Okay, I guess im still a little nervous, I don't wanna make her fat but I'd still like her to get enough nutrition to grow as big an healthy as she can.

Honestly, it's the time between feeds I'm question marking over. When they eat their hearts and other organs swell much larger than they are normally, and digestion causes a heavy toll on their bodies. They're made to survive long fasts between meals, because that's how food occurs in the wild. So feeding extremely often, while allowing the snake to grow quickly, is really hard on their bodies.

It's like overfeeding puppies, and then they grow too fast too soon and they can develop hip dysplasia and other bone issues.... obviously that doesn't quite happen to a snake, but feeding often (3 days apart especially) seems a little overkill. I know you want what's best for your snake, and feeding often seems like the best way to pamper them, but it's okay to cool down a bit. My kiddo's actually grown the most on a 7-10 day feeding schedule -- if I fed more often, she'd just poop out all the rest.

This is kind of a debatable topic, though. Everyone has their opinions on what's the best feeding schedule, and some people subscribe to that guide listed above. It's a loose guide, not meant to be followed to an exact T anyways, but someone will no doubt see it differently than me. In my opinion, feeding so often is kinda unnecessary. Just some food for thought.

Makes complete sense. I was actually planning an going over to weekly feeds and switching to rats once she gets a little over 200g. Ill definitely cut back right away tho, the last thing I want is to cause any unnecessary wear an tear on her. I guess me wanting her to be big an long (lol) is kinda selfish.
An it seems a lot of things are debatable when it comes to pets, from what I've seen.

You have 25+ years. Just enjoy your baby. They grow fast! I got boople last May at 177g. She just hit 850g. And I feed her once a week by the chart. They don't stay small for long lol. Our babies grow up way to fast. Odyn was 60g and now he is over 300g in less than a year. Like 8 months. My babies are no longer babies!

Beautiful snek. You're definitely making me want a Mojave! They have such a pretty colouration.

wow they grow that fast huh, good thing I gotta ap t8 on the way. Ill wait for her to grow a bit obviously before putting her in it.
