    Thermostat dropping - help please
I got Monty at the end of July and his temps have been fine untill now.
We live in a very old and very badly heated flat and I am worried that as things stand the British winter will be too much for Monty.

His tank is roughly 60cmx40cmx40cm and is heated by a spotlamp and a thermostat set to 92F for the hotspot - the cool spot was hanging around the 80f mark but has now started to drop.
It is clear I need some more heating and I suspect that under tha tank is the way to go. What kind of set ups do people suggest? Ambient room temp can drop very low in Jan/Feb time.

An under the tank heat source is very important for bps. I've heard excellent things about flexwatt and have a rack on it's way with it. Do NOT use a human heating pad as most of those have an automatic shut off. Here's a link for different heating options.
