Pretty sure thats a ringneck, caught a few of those at my camp in the Pine Barrens. Beautiful snakes, when they have their head. Poor thing. He looks like a pretty sizeable one, too.

I would've put it in a small box and buried it then find a stone and paint it for a headstone. My kids won't have it any other way

Just like with a wild rodent, it'd be wise not to feed to one of your captive keeps as you never know what kind of parasites or issues it might have.

They do have such pretty bellies.
