Thoughts on a tall enclosure for a Boa.
So I’m looking to build an enclosure down the road for my Boa. I was wondering what does everyone think about 6ft tall by 4 ft wide by 2ft depth? When I was younger my babysitter had a Boa that was in a similar enclosure. Granted that’s 20+ years ago. With a 7-8 foot Boa I want to give her the best possible living. Again with me living in central Florida, humidity and ambient temps are no issue. Just wanted to get some insight on experienced keepers. Granted she’s only 367g right now and almost 3 feet but I’m planning for the future. Thanks again!

I'm no expert but that sounds like a perfect size. Lots of hides, branches, and rocks with a big water dish sounds like a snake paradise to me

Well, I’m not sure how big she’s gonna get, no idea if she’s a reg Boa or another locale or what ever, she was sold to me as a Colombian Red Tail. But honestly, I really don’t care, I know she’ll get anywhere from 6-8 feet I imagine maybe 9 🤣 doubtful. And when we got her what a huge change in a little time frame.

Mine was sold as a Colombian red tail too. He's 6' and I have no idea of his age. I like big enclosures even if they aren't necessary
