    Burm Unboxing
So it's taken me a while to get the unboxing video of Dexter up as I haven't had access to a desktop PC, but here it is....

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_njZCrXU0vo

He appears right at the end of the video, I wish I would have gotten more footage of him but I was so excited (and shaking as you can tell in the video lol) that I wasn't paying attention to the video quality. Anyways, hope you enjoy it. :gj:

He's a good looking snake but would of loved to see 10 more minutes of him. Maybe it's just me but I'm addicted to unboxing videos ;) It's what caused me to pull the trigger on my 1st BP.

Sweet looking box....and I like the clips of the snake too :P

And you got lucky with that bag or you are good. Every time i tried to open those, i had to wrestle with quadruple knots and tape lol. Most of them i had to just cut the string with scissors.

Im taking the dramatic television show approach....let you see JUST enough of him to get you hooked on future threads  Haha, but yeah I watched the video after and realized I was holding him up too high for the camera to pick up on. Oh well lol

Ill definately make another video in a few weeks when I know he's eating consistently. I havent handled him since I got him to be safe and to let him cool off but he definately got a little bit of an attitude since he was unboxed....mainly hissing and he's struck once at the glass, but Im not worried. He'll calm down.

Ive opened a few of those bags before, but I know what you're talking about haha

Sounds like Louie. He was such a little chicken when i got him but did head butt me twice. Now when hungry, he will track you like no ones business and actually will tag the glass if you walk by fast. If you stop and look at him, he will track you again. The guy is always hungry. The only time i see him quiet is the day he eats haha.

But yeah, i heard baby burms are a lot of hissing lol.

That certainly sounds like th guy Im dealing with now, whats kind of funny is that he doesnt use his hide boxes, he doesnt like them. So you cant walk past his cage without stressing him out or have him watch you. SUPER hissy when theyre babies and its impressively loud. He seems pretty lazy until he digests his rat, then hes out searching for another in the wild jungle of an animal plastics T8 lol.

This is the same with my girl as they're very confident snakes that lay out in the open a lot. The only time my girl seems to use hides now is to sleep off a meal, although it's still good to offer them. And with hook training he should stop hissing too. I've had my girl for almost 3 months and I gently rub her with the hook everytime I enter the enclosure unless feeding. Barely hisses at all now.
