Wireless thermometer?

Are there any good trusted wireless thermometers out there. I have a Zilla thermometer and it broke with in a month, the temp of my uth taken by my temp gun is 93° an the zilla wont go over 84°. Since im gonna replace it id like to go all out.

Wireless as in battery operated or no Probe wire? The remote sensor one I bought I returned. The sensor can't get wet, its huge, heavy and I like a Probe for under the Hot Hide substrate.

as in no probe wire. i see reptile basics has one but it needs to connect to your cell phone an your internet an i dont need all that lol. an yeah i saw the wireless ones with the huge probes, looking for something to go under substrate. if it doesn't exist i have to just deal lol.

None of these are waterproof. In fact humidity gauges can't be waterproof. So don't stick them on damp soil that would just be bad in the long run. Nothing you can get on the cheap can get wet, not just damp or occasionally sprayed but wet as in submerged or poured water on, remember that.

This is ideal and I have several and trust them in all my cages (from 30% all the way to 85% humidity). Just place the probe above the substrate so it is not touching and out of the area you would mist or spray. You actually want humidity gauges slightly above the floor/substrate or in the case of arboreal closer to their perching height.

This one is more rugged but not wireless. It would be the best solution for a humid environment where it might get misted or sprayed directly.

Edit: If you want something to go in or under the soil you need a soil moisture meter probe which is not a humidity gauge and you should be able to find in garden or hydroponic supply stores or online on like amazon under hydroponics or gardening. Note these are not permanent either. They are to read moisture, not stick in the soil. Nothing made can stick under moist substrate, it would degrade if left in that.
