Question about introduction of male to female
I had something happen today that has not ever happened to me before. I have only been breeding for about a year but I have never had a female snake hiss at a male during introduction. I imagine it means what I think and she just doesn't feel like being bothered at the moment. It is storming so I thought it would be a good time to pair but the female is starting to go a tad pink on the belly. I took the male out for now since he looked like he wanted nothing to do with her tonight but I thought I would ask more seasoned people anyways. Thanks!

Personally I'd put them together anyway. Sometimes when you introduce the male the female can be in a bad mood or in feeding mode. Sometimes I'll make sure to put the male right on top of the female or even spray them both down with water to snap them out of it. Even in shed snakes will lock up.
