Good bye , little one..
My last hatchling to find a home will be picked up tomorrow. (unless they change their mind, 2.5 hour one way trip..)
This is one I wish I could keep. I wish I had space to keep about 50 more ;)
He is SUCH a joy !!! Perfect eater, took f/t right after his first shed and never refuses, switched form ft mice to ft rats without "blinking an eye". Also quite the bold and curious little one, not shy at all, yet not defensive or any attitude.
And if I may say so, quite the handsome guy.
Killer Enchi, Orion.
I will miss that one ... After he is gone all I have left is my Super Emperor Pinstripe girl Sunny, which I'm holding onto until I can find a Pastel Leopard DG female. Since I have the space, I'll just enjoy her company, she is another one that is just a joy to own :)
Just a quick pic

Re: Good bye , little one..
It must be sad to see them go! Pretty little guy!
Congrats a good breeding season, but again, so sad!
Although, I thought the worst when I read the thread title! So glad it's just "good bye," to a new home!

Oh gosh, I'm sorry !!!
I didn't even think about how that may sound...but you are right !!
But no, thank god its not that kind of good bye. :)
I have a little bit of teeny (and irrational) hope they may change their mind. I need to go buy a bigger property with a guest house on it, or something like that. And use the entire guesthouse for my snakes. And that's where I'll spend a lot of time, LOL. Hm, might as well get some acreage to go with that so I can bring my horse home and get a couple more dogs, I've always wanted a Irish Wolfhound. I may never leave my property again, then :)
Sigh. One day I'll be found buried under all kinds of animals and animal paraphernalia, half eaten by them, LMAO !!

LOL.
Talking about how things sound, LOL.
Well, I may have some more in a year or two. I'm letting my Desert Ghosts grow up nice and slow and if they (or a couple of them) are ready next season, it may happen then ;)
Nice thing about forums such as this one is that you "get to know" people and their animals. There are quite a few people on here I would get a snake from in a heartbeat !!

I want your babies too!!

Re: Good bye , little one..
I was dreading reading the story but thank god it was kinda good news,
I too sold my last little motley boa that I bred last season this week so I know how it feels, luckily she’s gravid again so I can look forward to rearing a few more,
you really do create some great snake babies by the way
