Anyone from PA prepping for the storm
Tuesday night we are suppose to get 6+ inches of snow. Got some hand warmers and things around today just in case we lose power. Anyone else got any reptile survival hacks for bad weather
Re: Anyone from PA prepping for the storm
We actually got 6 inches in Charleston in January. We luckily didn't lose power. But the weather didn't seem to affect Lucy. She actually spent most of her time in the cool hide. The insulation at our place isn't amazing, but we just kept the heater going as usual and our temps stayed just fine.
The only problem we had was the humidity dropping, so I would keep an eye on that.

Come on now PA, this NY and I know you and I are use to more than 6" without a survival kit hahahaha. Remember Last March? We got 3 feet in 24 hours.
Anyway we are 12hrs behind you on that storm at least, were looking at Mid Day Wednesday and its suppose to be a quick 7-10" here and done by night time. The only thing I have for Heat if I loose power is a big 6 burner gas stove and oven down stairs along with a Kerosene heater I can use & put upstairs. I figure that would keep the house from going below 60 and the kitchen would be a lot warmer so the snakes could go in Tubs down there... when Power went out back 5-6 years ago I still had heat because my Furnace had a Pilot Light.. Well I remodeled & upgraded, all this new Junk has electronic ignition with Power Vents.. Gotta Love Technology [emoji86][emoji86]

I have all new stuff as well (we got flooded pretty bad) I have kerosene heaters and all that so we are always ready for snow. Just wondering if anyone had any cool snake hacks to be heard

I just looked at 7800 watt Champion Generators for $799 last week. I also found something called a "Generlink". Its $650 and goes behind your Meeter on your house so a Generator can Plug directly in to power tour house without spending 2 thousand on a Panel and Hook up/lockout/Backfeed protection for a generator to plug into.. I was going to make a thread on it incase people wanted to know about it. Pretty Cheap compared to having a electrocution and inspector come out to install all that other stuff in a basement.

Well I was up late last night watching my young one Gracie climb and hang on her PVC branches. She decided to mess right over her Hot Hide so I cleaned that then went to bed around 1am... Woke up to a full blown whiteout i wasn't ready for. Usually when they call for snow im up by 4am because I do 4 driveways and a small apartment Parking lot I rent out... Im kinda tired and behind schedule now. We have about 3" so far. Last night the weatherman said ZERO% for Tuesday and the Storm Wed so i wonder if this is the storm or something else. PITB. Did I mention I cant stand Winter? Hahahaha

Compairable to some other things, very pretty but useless as nipples on a Boar Lmbo https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a387fe7cb8.jpg
