Should the Monday after Super Sunday be a Holiday?
ok so the big game was this weekend. yep, it was Super Sunday yesterday! did u watch the big game? there was so much build-up. the underdogs vs. the big dogs! it was a game for the ages!

what game some of u may ask?

i'm talking about the Puppy Bowl of course!

if u missed the big game, u can read a re-cap here (complete w/ pix and gifs): https://www.sbnation.com/2018/2/4/16...s-cute-canines

so Super Sunday is a YUGE American tradition of over eating, over drinking and over partying. oh and of course, there's a sports competition as well. anyway i bring this up b/c the day after the Super Bowl... errr i mean Puppy Bowl, is one of the least productive work day of the year.
-- 10.5 million call in sick
-- 7.5 million show up late
-- 16.5 million will simply skip

i myself i'm working a half day today. i slept in an extra 2hours and had a big hot breakfast and came into the office just in time for lunch! i guess i'm 1 of the 7.5 milli who was tardy. oops!

so what do u think? should we just have (Post) Super Bowl Monday as a national holiday and everyone can take the day off to celebrate and/or cry and recover?

If we're talking about a paid holiday, yes. I don't pay attention to sports but alot of people don't celebrate Christmas and still get paid to take the day off.

Definitely yes!.. I don't drink alcoholic beverages and I don't watch sporting events, but I can act like I do if that's what it takes. I spent the day doing stuff that really matters. Playing Xbox and watching Hulu [emoji41]

I sort of had an unofficial holiday today. School was cancelled due to inclement weather. I'm definitely not complaining lol.

Paid holidays are negotiated by your job, as far as needing recovery time, grow a pair and call in. No holiday status needed. :)

Nope, shouldn't be a holiday. Not that I'd get it off in restaurantville anyway. It's harder with other sports anyway. Staying up to watch the Bruins or Sox (Or Celtics if you're into that crap) in the playoffs can be tough. It's multiple games a week, week nights, etc...

And being in Boston, we make the playoffs pretty much every year in all 4 major sports...tough being in Title Town. (YES, I know the Pats lost, hahahaha)

Of course it should. And any other days they want to give us off, paid, I'll agree with those too.
