I got my ball python and he's not very old maybe a couple months or less he's only about 1.5 feet long and the pet store i got him from has been feeding him live and i was wondering if i can convert him to f/t im alittle worried because the pet store lady said she hasnt seen a sucessful switch like that be cause the f/t lost all the smell and stuff hes still very young is there hope? i honestly... its gonna be hard to feed him live.

I totally get it. You can do a couple of things. First just try it. Make sure it is really warm. Like 100 degree warm and just hold it still with tongs without making it do the dead dangle dance (say that three times fast lol). If your beep hates the dangle (some do) lay it on the ground with it really warm and walk away. You can brain them. And also shake and bake them in used mouse bedding.

I would first get him comfortable and feed what used to. Biggest reason is sometimes just getting them to eat after a move can take time. Once he's eaten twice consistently then try a f/t. And yes the bedding scenting can def help.
