    do they smell?
On the cold winter days, I was considering putting the tub into the closet since it has no windows, just one door to keep it warmer.
Just have one tub, will they smell? I will have lid on the tub and I am going to spot clean it whenever they have poop or something. I heard their poops can smell really bad and was worried if it will affect my clothes in the closet lol

i usually can't smell anything unless i'm messing around in the enclosure; the smell isn't room-filling by any stretch. a good substrate can absorb some of the smell, too.

i think your clothes will be fine.

As long as you keep your enclosure clean it shouldn't smell at all, your clothes will be safe.

True story, I kept a BP in my closet for over a year before my roommates found out I had her!! Hahahaha, that was 18-19 years ago when I was young, stupid and selfish.

Make sure thats not colder as there will be no heat circulation. If you open my Closets they're freezing right now. Its 17 here in NY & a closet is a room without heat. Another thing is that you asked if it will smell as you'll keep a Lid on the Tub. Well dont forget to Drill Holes in the Tub for air. Lil guy has to Breath hahahahaha

100% agree. The wood floor in my closet feels like ice whereas just outside the door the floor is comfotable. Closet may not be warmer unless you heat it.

Do you mean that you have 1 rack? Or are there multiple snakes in one enclosure? Ball pythons need to be house individually - so just checking. Also, how is your tub heated? Just a UTH may not have the power to keep the ambient temperature high enough.

Its just a single tub he is using now.. He just got his first snake. He has been on here for a month researching and asking 99 questions.. Hahahaha. He has about 100 threads going and just needs to slow down a little to understand better.
