Sheding
About how often dose a ball python shed?
-
from my own personal logs: 40-60 days as hatchlings/juveniles, and 60-90 days as adults.
-
Mine both go in blue ever 6-7 weeks to the day.
-
In my experience, every 6-9 weeks when young, 8-12 weeks as they get older
-
It depends on how frequently you feed them. If you feed them a lot they shed more often. If they are not fed much at all they can go a very long time between sheds.

Yep, yep, yep what he said, personally.

Re: Sheding
It all depends on feeding schedule, feeder size, and usually age. I don't have exact numbers, but I'd say 2 weeks for hatchlings, a month for 1 year olds, and 2 months(?) for adults.

I've never had a snake shed 2 weeks apart, never had a yearling shed monthly.

Well that's wrong info then lol. As I said, I don't have exact numbers, and those were the numbers from the caresheet I found some time ago on google. So thanks for the correction!
