    Odd Behavior
    OCD mom alert!

OK, after Kashmire's HUGE deposit Wednesday night (the biggest gift he's ever left me), he's been acting stressed. He's been literally climbing the walls of his enclosure from the time I got home yesterday at 5 pm until after I went to bed at 11 (I assume, because he was still doing it when I went to bed). He did not rest at all. Took several drinks of water and this morning I expected to find him curled up exhausted inside one of his hides, but he was laying curled up behind his driftwood in the back middle part of his tank (checked and he is breathing...yeah, I'm that obsessive)

As far as I can tell, nothing has changed in his world, the temps have remained constant (92-94 on the warm side, 82-84 on cool), the humidity is about 45%. Daily routines in the home have not changed around him.

This behavior is so odd for him, and I noticed his activity picked up right after he left the deposit the night before as well. Is he not feeling well? Is there anything to be concerned about? I don't want him stressed! I want him calm and happy (or as happy as a snake can be).

Well, lets start off with lighting, do you have a florecent bulb or basking light of any kind on the tank? I don't use one because it seemed to stress monty out the first few days I tested it out, so I quit, I'm still pretty much a newb when it comes to bps, so I can't do much help.

I have a infrared light over his cool side. Without it, his cool side would drop into the low 70's. It's always been there, again, another thing that hasn't changed in his environment. Supposedly they can't see infrared light.

I was hoping you'd answer, Adam. Do you think he's stressed by anything, or just being a normal ball?

bps are quirky little things. maybe he just decided that the time had come and he was breaking out! or maybe he was feeling energized after dropping off some of that extra weight. :)

Shikara does that too for a couple of days after he's dropped his load. I'm mean, after holding in a big load then finally loosing it, you'd feel energetic too right?

This is bad, I am on the phone with one of my closest friends and she is laughing at me...because I was laughing at this thread. You are all warping me (actually I was warped already you're just bringing it out)! LOL
