Yay, She Takes Prekilled!

i was feeding my snake today and i decided to prekill the rat. i couldnt beleive how easy it was!!! all i did was put it in a zip-lock bag, take it by the tail and wack its head on the step in front of my house! he was dead instantly! anyway i took the dead rat by his tail with tongs and wiggled it in front of vanessa's hide and she wacked it out of the tongs! when she was squeezing it i grabbed it by the foot and wiggled it for a few sec. to make her think it was still alive and she ate it! now i'll have to try it on zulu.

Are you working at weaning her over to f/t or just seeing if she'd take another type of prey? Congrats on the feed. :)

i was just seeing what she would do and because she got a little scratch/bite from the rat last time. im gonna feed them both p/k now.

yes!!!! i just fed my male p/k and he ate it. im pre killing from now on!
