    Trying to escape?
I am curious about a behavior my Lucy shows. She likes going into her tank just fine. In fact if I bring her up to it she'll just crawl right in. But sometimes she starts nosing at the glass and mesh top like she wants back out. Is she trying to escape? Where to?

Another unrelated behavior I am curious about is that she likes to prop her head up on stuff so her nose is sticking up.

It could be multiple things stress, or maybe it's pacing around looking for food. Is your husbandry on point?

I wish it were. We've had her less than two months so we are still learning. We are also handling her a lot because we have to give her shots and are trying to get a retained shed off her chin. We also think the shed may be keeping her from eating. So probably stressed and hungry. Sigh.

Have you tired putting some moss in her hides and letting her sort that out on her own?

I have been posting about my attempts (and failures) here:

I thought I should intevene because it's been a while since she shed. I haven't tried moss though. In both hides?
