    I've seen my ball drink a couple times but I have yet to see any urates. Ive had her for a week.

    Give it awhile.....you will have urates :) mine usually pass some every 3-5 weeks..

    Yes. Anywhere from the size of a grain of rice to a small bolder depending on the size of your snake. You can't miss them.

    And if you were to keep your animal on newspaper, it would be even better, because when they urinate, the paper turns yellow and you would not have to sit waiting in suspense. ;)

    when my snake was little and on aspen it was hard to spot them because they were so small and they blended in with the aspen. but you can smell them. and it is way easier (like adam said) to spot them on newspaper ot dark bedding.

    ...ha....even better....ya when the bps get big, they will leave the whole enclosure wet :)
