    Animal Plastics posted a picture of a 96” x 48” x 48” enclosure on Facebook today.

I . . . I . . . I have *lust*. No room or funds, but think of the fun you could have setting one of those up for an (semi-) arboreal snake!

Slow as dirt? Lol! That's a new one.

I've ordered a rack and career from them and found them to having a reasonable ship time.

My ETB and GTP are in pvccages.com cages and they have been by far the fastest built and shipped I've ordered. The last one I ordered I actually had to call and ask for them to hold it a week as it was ready before I expected and I was going to be out of town when it was delivered. They held it and shipped it as we discussed which put it at my door the day I returned. These and my AP products are very similar in quality and look.

AP is unfortunately back ordered all the time now and can take months. Not complaining but I do prefer the shipping I got with pvc and RBI

So yes, 2-3 months to have anything shipped is slow as dirt ;)

Yea AP does take awhile to get but all good things come to those who wait :D Took me like 13 weeks for my T10s and T8s and exactly 12 weeks for my T25s. The shipping is a killer on those big cages those especially for people like me west of the mountains. I paid a little over $300 for shipping alone for my 3 T25s and the stand.

I was just thinking the same thing.. .that would make a killer arboreal mansion. Oh but the heating would be a grand undertaking!

Just to reiterate I am not knocking their product, I would happily wait the shipping time to get a cage but it does need to be addressed eventually to keep them going. They need a better supply chain system.

That is an awesome size for an iguana or small frilled dragon colony too

Yeah heating would be a planning process. I mean GTPs dont need a lot of heat to begiin with. I keep Pat at room temp which is anywhere from 77-79F with his little hot spot of 86F.

With big cage, you would need the longest RHP you could get from Bob at Pro Products and that would most likely be fine. Could mount in in the center assuming that is the RHP is about 3 feet giving you a gradient on both sides of 2.5 feet not to mention the vertical gradient which would probably drop fast. In Pat's little 18x18x18 cube using the 40 watt Nano CHE, his hot spot is 86F but even 3-4 inches below that, it drops to 79F. So a pretty fast drop in temps. Then the next perch down which is about 6 inches is around 77F. But man, that cage would be awesome to do up. Put some nice palms in there for a canopy. Then put is a mix of Pothos and Nerve Plant for the ground cover. Would be awesome.

And i doubt their wait times will ever change. It has been like that for years. It's just so many people order from them. Their cages speak for themselves which in turn generates all that business. They can only work so fast while keeping it a smaller 'family' business. Also, they do custom jobs as well so that takes even more time. if they just rattled them off like an assembly line, then they could probably speed it up but i think quality would suffer not to mention, they couldnt do custom jobs really anymore. Key is to plan ahead on what you need. I am probably the most impatient person alive and i still managed to wait for my cages. If i can do it, anyone can do it haha.

Oh and not sure of you ever talked to the owner of S3D, David. But he can make those branch extensions in full 1/4 inch if you want. I talked to him a few days ago about it as i was thinking of switching Pat over to the no spin perch holders in 1/2 inch and then using a bunch of the perch extensions. I just didnt want the 1/2 part of the extensions and David said he can do the whole extension in 1/4 inch mounting to a 1/2 inch PVC pipe. So i might go with that later for Pat. I did forget to ask him if he can do no spin perch holders in 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch as Pat is growing like a freakin weed lol. Little guy is up to small fuzzie mice now. He powers them things down in about 20-30 secs flat haha.

Those branch extensions are amazing. I am thinking of getting a wall mount one to add more climbing areas if she pulls through. Ganja loves hers and uses it to bask and drink.
