I actually have no clue, I've never really kept track. I just make sure I always have a few backups on hand.
Good question though, now I'm curious...

Are we talking a CHE here, or something else?

Heat bulbs have given me a month or two to a few months use. If you buy a higher watt bulb and use a dimmer to reduce the power they are said to last longer.
As for a che I can say I have two. One I don't think I've ever used but the other I used for well over a year, maybe two, at full power 24/7 and it still worked when I pulled it out last year to use temporarily for my ETB when I first got her. With these I believe it's the fixture that makes the difference. I used the purpose built care style and it obviously worked. Some regular fixtures will build up heat and cook the unit and kill it.

Heat bulbs are like light bulbs, they can last a month or they can last a year. Ceramic heat emitters however last many times longer and don't put out light. Unless you need a specific light spectrum, ceramic heat emitters are far superior for nocturnal species.

CHE = ceramic heat emitter. More expensive to purchase but they last a long time and heat more efficiently so they are cheaper over time to use.
Heat bulbs have a short enough lifespan that when I was using them I always kept two spares on hand, because two is one and one is none.

Sometimes they last a couple months, other times almost a year. I buy them buy the dozen. I try not to turn them on and off as much as possible. I’m more then happy using the Zoo Med red bulbs, I’ve been using them for years.
