    Rack Advice
I'm currently looking at rack systems two house my current male and four more arrivals that I'm planning on a little later in the comming months. I will also be adding at least two more within the next year some time (probably next breeding season).

I've noticed AP has the 1756 series for 7 animals. Does anyone have any experience with that model, or with AP that they can share?

(Mods - Sorry if this goes in the caging forum, feel free to move it if its in the wrong place)

from everything i have heard they are great racks. i have an ap cage and it is very nice, but i would DEFINITELY recommend getting the flexwatt heat for it as opposed to the heat cable. the heat cable tends to cause hot spots, or to be really hot in one spot but then cold right next to it (at least this is what i and several others have found).

AP has racks that are flexwatt ready but they do not come with the flexwatt. I think this was poorly worded on the website.

If you go with the AP cages -
I also highly suggest you go with flexwatt.

If you're looking for something a bit more expensive.
You should look at the Freedom Breeders.
    My favorite racks :)

I agree on the flexwatt. I have come to the realization that heat rope doesnt work with racks the way that AP routers it. Flexwatt is the way to go. I love the AP racks though. The Iris boxes are expensive though...

Do remeber that Boaphile comes with flexwatt preinstalled and you don't need to buy more. That is why the prices are alitte higher than AP.

I myself am going to try Boaphile. The biggest concern with them is turnaround, but it sounds like AP is having similar problems with a couple people. HP why do you say Boaphile is higher priced? I really don't think that's the case, since the rack prices do not include the tubs whereas Boaphile includes everything.

well by looking at them boaphile looks higher priced, but they include more for the cost. That is what I meant to say. Boaphile looks better IMO, I want to try it out becuase it comes with all the stuff like you say.
