    heating a t5?
    what is the best method to heat a T5? i have heard mixed opinions one what the best option is.

    I think a RHP is the most efficient heat source but I've also used UTHs and CHEs successfully in my AP enclosures. It's really a matter of personal preference.

    Id go with a RHP. However in order for anyone to help you decide what they think the best route is, you need to provide the temps of your house for summer/winter. Does your heat go down to 60 at night etc...

    room has its own heat for winter so i keep it around 75-77 in the summer its usually around mid 70's

    and i assume that's to create the hot spot and help raise the ambient a little?

    It will do it all. At that room temp (68+) the RHP placed on the hot side will give you 90 and in the process make the cool side 78-80.
