    Dry scales???
My male ball python recently went through a bad shed that i had to help him threw. Just before his shed I noticed some dry looking, red tinted scales on his back. I'm not 100% sure if these scales still have shed on them or not because I'm hesitant to touch that area. Could these scales be this way from him rubbing up against his rock from trying to get his shedding started or is something else!?
