    My corn snake got bite
    Hey guys,
So I fed my 1 year old male corn snake adult live mice this Saturday night and it seems like the mice bite him (he caught the mice by the stomach instead of the usually head strike) , I didn't see anything at the moment but when I replace the water dish a few mins ago I noticed a dry black blood on him and like blood on the scales.
How to treat him? Should I treat him or leave him alone?

    * I usually feed thawed rodents, the fridge stopped working the other week and I can't put rodents to the family fridge so I had to feed live *

Here picture of his "wound" hope you can see clearly:

How big is your corn snake? I have a year old corn and granted the little savage could probably choke an adult mouse down, that seems a little to big. As far as the wound, is it still bleeding or has it stopped? I suggest that you make sure it doesn't get infected. I would use triple antibiotic ointment or Neosporin. Make sure it's not the pain relief kind

That looks like nothing, snake scales are armor. Should heal just fine without treatment, unless it somehow gets infected from a dirty enclosure. I don't even see a wound, just some dried blood, could even be blood from the mouse!

Honestly, looking at that picture without an explanation I woulda guessed the rodent bit it's own tongue and bled a bit on the snake. I'm not seeing any obvious wounds there, just dried blood. If there is damage, it's probably so superficial I wouldn't sweat it - were that my snake.
