    Boa constrictor belly lump size
I am trying my boa on large weiner rats instead of small and there is a noticeable lump after feeding. There isn't one when I feed her on small weiner. Will she be on large from now on?

As long as the lump isn't overly dramatic and you don't handle it for three days after it eats your snake should be fine. I would extend the time between feedings; for instance if your boa was on a ten day schedule then push the feedings out to every two weeks.

Why are you going from small to large weaned rats? If the smalls leave barely or a small lump, then there is no need to upsize yet.

If you are doing it because that is all that is available atm, then a larger than normal prey here and there wont hurt them but like bcr said, if you are feeding a larger prey, extend the next feeding out in proportion to the size upgrade.
