RBI RHP plug removal

Just picked up two lightly used Reptile Basics RHP'S and "need" to remove the plugs for installation- rather than try and break them does anyone one know the easy way to remove these?

Have you tried gently squeezing the plug prongs together and puling? If you can get them to slide out of the housing then all you need to do is spread them apart and remove the cord. I don't think there is anything that locks the prongs to the housing.

Hadn't tried anything yet as wasn't sure how these ones clamped and didn't wanna overdo it muscling it! Thanks.
