Loose scales sticking out on baby ball python
Hi! I tried to make this thread earlier but it didn’t work so this one’s gonna be shorter.
My ball python’s scales are kind of loose and sticking out in a few small places along his body. I looked for signs of scale rot like discoloration (white, pink, red, brown, any not-normal color) and found none. The scales aren’t soft or misshapen they are just out of place and I can see his skin underneath.
I’ve only had him for a little while and (though I’ve been working hard lately to keep his humidity right) his last two sheds with me were pretty rough. The last one was in December.
His belly scales looked fine, he doesn’t have any mites/ticks, and he’s not behaving oddly but I’m still concerned . Any help would be appreciated. Here’s a picture: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...xolo1_1280.jpg

Scales can get bent and creased depending how the snake is laying and will go back to normal. I dont see anything to worry about here.

Thanks! I did a little more reading last night and it seems like this might be the reason, Yeah.
I just wanted to be careful and ask, I appreciate the response
